TerraTec NOXON iRadio 500 announced at IFA 2010

TerraTec have plowed away at the internet radio segment, and their new NOXON iRadio 500 is a slick example of the breed. A €299 ($386) standalone model, with both WiFi and a wired network option, the iRadio 500 has a 2.1 speaker system, large 3.8-inch color display and straightforward controls. As well as playing internet radio, it can also stream locally-stored music across your network from a computer or NAS.

Although not necessarily highlighted at IFA this year, we can say that it is by proxy. Given the presence that the company has participated in this year’s show, we think it’s important. In any event, they are officially announced that their new store TV + is entering the market soon, and it offers lots of goodies up for those who want their media streaming on. Especially if you’re not a fan of watching TV on your computer, and prefer to see him there, on your TV, where it should be.

Another day, another Android tablet. Today’s is the Rydeen gPad GCOM701, a 7-inch slate based around Marvell’s 800MHz ARMADA 166 chipset and promising between 6 and 8 hours of battery life. Connectivity includes WiFi b/g, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot and USB, while there’s also GPS with Navteq software for using the gPad as a PND.

ViewSonic Viewpad 7 an other tablet with Android 2.2 tablet

ViewSonic has come clean on its first Android tablet, the 7-inch ViewSonic Viewpad 7. Running Android 2.2 on a capacitive touchscreen, the Viewpad 7 has an integrated GSM/3G modem for phone and data connectivity, a front-facing VGA webcam and a 3-megapixel rear camera. It can be used as a regular Android phone – albeit a big one – but of course it’s really intended to replace your iPad.
Nokia C6-01 & E7 unmasked in the profiles of XML

XML profiles of two rumored Nokia handsets have been spotted online, for the Nokia E7 – tipped to be the N8-style QWERTY phone leaked a few months back – and the Nokia C6-01. Both run Symbian^3 with a 640 x 360 display, WiFi and Bluetooth, with the C6-01 expected to have an 8-megapixel camera.
