Google TV for 2011 in Europe

Eric Schmidt said yesterday during his keynote at IFA, Google TV will be available in Europe next year (2011), unlike the U.S. where the first aircraft equipped (in beta) will arrive later this year . For now, only Logitech ( Logitech Journal ) and Sony ( Internet TV and Blu-Ray) announced products, but Samsung and LG would also be on hand to integrate the Google service. Stay tuned.

If you still wondering what the final interface will look like Internet Explorer 9 (well, one of its beta, at least) the following video should logically inform your lanterns. There was a time when OnStar, and other systems like it, were meant to do one thing: help you in case of an emergency. But apparently the fact that people were paying for a system that, let’s face it, they (hopefully) weren’t using all that often didn’t make sense, and now “GPS and Infotainment” systems are being upgraded to not only function as helping hands, but also useful entertainment items. OnStar is late to the bandwagon, especially compared to other in-car systems like Ford’s Sync, but it looks like they’re going for the haymaker: Facebook.

Google Instant Search Now Official and debut work

We all know that Google’s trying to make the way you search faster. They’ve been trying to do it for awhile now, and they’ve done a good job of it. Especially with that drop-down menu that shows you what you might be searching for, as you type. Now, they want to make Google Search a little bit of a psychic element, as they’ve just announced Google Instant. Which, as Google puts it, isn’t search as you type, but search before you type.
80,000 videos submitted for Life in a Day in Youtube

On 24 July, the team invited all Youtube users to publish a video describing their day. A total of 80,000 videos were submitted with 197 countries represented. Called Life in a Day (one day in life), this project aims to create the biggest documentary generated by users themselves, the aim being to collect the same day through different eyes.
Google doodle ‘Balls’ logo with HTML5,is only the beginning

Google’s logo has decided to parade the power of HTML5 via a whole bunch of super bouncy balls whenever you check out Google’s homepage. This unique Google Doodle might just blow your mind away whenever you mouseover its logo – and just in case you happen to be in the minority who cannot view Google for any particular reason, the video right after the jump ought to do its job in conveying the message. Surely HTML5 is shaping up to be a decent competitor to Flash, and only consumers will win in the end as both platforms go up head-to-head against one another.
Ping: 1 million users in 48 hours

A little over a million users have registered on the Ping, the new social networking feature in iTunes 10 (see Table Preview (and iTunes 10) . Apple made the announcement, indicating reaching this course in 48 hours.
